Terms of use

By using CheckMyCandidates you agree to these terms.

Information, not advice

This site gathers public information about candidates and elections. It isn't legal advice or official election guidance. Ballots, deadlines and rules are set by state and county election offices, so always confirm with your official sample ballot and your election office before you vote.

Accuracy

Every fact links to its source, and we check what we publish. Sources can still be wrong or change after we check them, so the site is provided as is, without any guarantee that it's complete or current. If you find an error, please tell us.

Other sites

We link to official pages, campaign sites and other sources we don't control. We aren't responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Ads

The site shows ads served by Google. Ads are chosen by Google, not by us, and an ad appearing here isn't an endorsement. See Privacy for how ad cookies work.

Fair use of the site

Don't use the correction form to send spam, private information about anyone, or false reports. Don't scrape the site in a way that overloads it.

Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page. Questions go to our contact page.
